The Golden Bears finished in third place as a team at Topeka Country Club, shooting 862 (+10). After shooting 281 (-3) and 302 (+18) yesterday, Concordia rebounded scoring 279 (-5) in the third round. CSP was the only team to shoot under par as a team in round three.

Gutzmer's 65 (-6) was the best round of any golfer at the tournament, beating Northeastern State's Will Livermore who shot 66 (-5) in the first round. The CSP senior finished with his career-low individual score and his career-low three-round score with the Golden Bears.

He started strong on Tuesday morning shooting three-straight birdies and hitting birdie on four out of his first five holes. Gutzmer's lone bogey of the day came in the midst of that stretch on hole seven. He finished the day with seven birdies, 10 pars and one bogey.

Gutzmer's 14 total birdies were the most in the tournament and he finished with 31 pars. He was one under par on par threes and five under par on par fives. His three-round score ties Noah Rasinski in 2018 at the Lindenwood Invitational.

Brandon Sperling holds the lowest three-round score in program history at 204 (-6) at last season's NCAA Regional Preview. Josh Esterley tied Sperling's lowest individual round of 65 (-7) earlier this season. Gutzmer tied both Sperling and Nick Jarrett for the second-lowest round in school history.

Tyler Debruyckere had an impressive third-round score of 70 (-1) to finish tied for 11th at 216 (+3). This tied for the eighth-best three-round score in school history. Debruyckere birdied five out of six holes in the middle of the round and finished at five under par through his last nine holes.

The freshman shot rounds of 69 (-2) and 77 (+6) yesterday, entering the day tied for 22nd. Debruyckere's 12 total birdies in the tournament tied for the third most by any golfer and he tied for the fifth-best score on par fours. This was his second-highest finish of the season.

Senior Tommy Marker finished in 19th after shooting 73 (+2) on Tuesday to total 218 (+5). Marker shot 12 pars in the round with two birdies and four bogeys. He finished the tournament with 34 total pars, which tied for the 13th most in the tournament.

His first-round score of 70 (-1) was his second-lowest score of the season. The 19th-place finish was his lowest of the season and this was the lowest three-round score of his career.

Esterley jumped 17 spots on Tuesday, placing 26th with a total score of 220 (+7). He shot 71 (E) in round three for his best round of the tournament. After he started two over par through 12 holes, Esterley finished two under par on the last six.
