SMITHVILLE, Mo. — The Concordia-St. Paul men's golf team capped off its 2025-26 season with a second place finish at the NSIC Championships this afternoon. The Golden Bears shot a 297 (+9) in the final round to card a 887 (+23) across all three at the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex.
Senior Trey Timm put together a 70 (-2) third round, moving up two spots to finish in third place, carding a 217 (+1) for the tournament and being named to the NSIC All-Tournament team. It is Timm's fourth top 10 finish of the season and the second top five finish of his career.
Timm started the day by making par on each of his first eight holes before birdying the ninth hole to shoot a 35 at the turn. On the back nine the senior added two more birdies on holes 16 and 17, shooting a 35 and ending the day two under par.
The three round score of 217 is Timm's second lowest three round total of the season, four strokes off the 213 he shot at the Skip Wagnon Invitational. It is also the seniors best finish at the NSIC Championships after he shot a 223 (+7) at last season's tournament. He is now the 11th Golden Bear to be named to the NSIC All-Tournament team as well.
Timm finishes the season with a team-low 73.9 scoring average, good for 12th in the NSIC this season.
Chase Camilli used a 73 (+1) in the final round of play to move up six spots finishing in 15th place after carding a 224 (+8) across all three rounds. It is the second best 54 hole score of the season for Camilli after he shot a 212 at the Skip Wagnon Invitational earlier this season.
Camilli had two birdies in the final round of play with the first coming on the par five, fifth hole as he shot a 35 at the turn. On the back nine Camilli birdied on the 17th hole to end the day with a one over par round.
Josh Esterley shot a 77 (+5) in the final round for a three round score of 225 (+9) to finish in 16th place. Esterley birdied twice, with one coming on the ninth hole to shoot a 35 on the front nine. The junior birdied once more on the par five, 11th hole to shoot a 41 on the back nine and end the day five over par.
Esterley ends the season with a 74.1 scoring average, good for 14th in the NSIC.
Freshman Carson Boe capped off the scoring for CSP, shooting a 77 (+5) in round three to card a 227 (+11) for the tournament, finishing in 21st place. Boe's final round was highlighted by birdies on holes eight and 17 for a five over par final round.
Sean Leutner rounded out the CSP and shot a 77 (+5) in round three for a tournament score of 230 (+14) and a 27th place finish. Leutner tallied four birdies in the final round, including three on the front nine, for a total of 12 across all three rounds, the second most of any golfer at the NSIC Championships.
Winona State used a 282 (-6) third round to shoot a 867 (+3) for the tournament and claim the NSIC Championship, punching their ticket to the NCAA Midwest/Central Super Regional. The Warriors ended the tournament with a 20 stroke lead and the title.
Individually Winona State's Max Jericho was the NSIC Tournament Champion, shooting a 215 (-1) across all three rounds to come out with a one stroke win over his teammate Peyton Coahran who shot a 65 (-7) in the final round.
CSP finishes the season with a four player scoring average of 295.5 through 24 rounds of play, good for third best in the NSIC.
