MANKATO, Minn. - The Concordia-St. Paul track & field teams collected three school records, three wins and two NCAA provisional qualifying marks at the Mark Schuck Open & Multi on Friday and Saturday on the campus of Minnesota State.

On Friday, it was the duo of Tarnue David and Jaid Perry that made school history as David broke a 22-year-old record in the 300m with a time of 35.29 seconds and a second-place result while Perry broke a 17-year-old record in the 500m with a time of 1:19.20 in a victory. David's mark surpassed Jake Nelson's previous record of 35.65 set all the way back in 2001 while Perry's time cleared Amanda Mueller's 2006 record of 1:21.00.

Drake Daniels comfortably knocked off his own record in the 60m hurdles on Saturday with a time of 8:18 seconds in the finals to earn second, booking him an NCAA provo with the performance.

He wasn't the only Golden Bear to hit a provo on Saturday as Calder Erick bettered his season best in the heptathlon as he collected 4984 points in a second-place finish.

Owen Erickson provided one more individual win for the squad as his time of 15:19.89 garnered a top-spot finish in the 5000m.

The 4x400m relay team of Tyce Smith, Thomas Dietel, Tarnue David and Jerry Chanzu added a win of their own with a mark of 3:27.61.

The distance medley relay team nearly added another win with a second-place finish while Tyce Smith took second in the 400m and Emmett Faltesek took second in the 800m.

Concordia's lone representative at the Jack Johnson Classic, Mehlayna Straub, took 10th in the pentathlon with 2915 points.

The Golden Bears are back in the Twin Cities next weekend as they travel to the Gopher Classic on Saturday.
