EUGENE, Ore. – Concordia-St. Paul track & field's Arika Harbo was selected to compete in the 2023 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships from July 6-8 at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field.
 
After becoming the first active athlete in program history to compete in a USATF Championship this past winter at the 2023 USATF Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, N.M., Harbo is back for a second competition as she is one of 16 competitors in the high jump. The event is set to begin at 8:40 p.m. CT on Friday with television coverage on CNBC/Peacock.
 
Harbo will not be the only Golden Bear competing as Concordia alums Marcus Gustaveson and Benjamin Allen will also be taking part in the meet. Gustaveson will compete in the discus throw at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday while Allen's 1500m will begin with semifinals on Thursday at 9:01 p.m.
