The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes track & field/cross country honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 28 (women) and June 29 (men). The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
Peyton Enders (Multi-Event, 6-0, Jr., Ogema, Wis. / Prentice HS)
- CSC Academic All-Region
- NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award
- Four-time NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence
- Finished seventh in the decathlon at the NSIC Outdoor Championships
- Took ninth in the heptathlon at the NSIC Indoor Championships
- Registered 10 top-five finishes on the season and 21 in the top-10
- Collected three finishes in the top-four at the Holst Invitational
Calder Erick (Multi-Event, 5-11, So., Forest Lake, Minn. / Forest Lake Area HS)
- CSC Academic All-Region
- NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award
- Two-time NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence
- All-NSIC in the heptathlon
- Took second in the heptathlon at the NSIC Indoor Championships
- Won the long jump at the MSU Massive Meet #1
- Helped the 4x400m relay team to a pair of wins
- Added a second-place finish in the heptathlon at the Ice Breaker Open & Multi
- Tallied 16 top-five finishes on the year
Owen Erickson (Long Distance / Cross Country, 5-10, So., Blaine, Minn. / Spring Lake Park HS)
- CSC Academic All-Region
- Three-time NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence
- Took 10th in the 5k at the NSIC Indoor Championships
- Took 39th in the NSIC Cross Country Championships
- Was the team's top finisher in three cross country meets
- Registered nine top-10 finishes in the track & field season, including five in the top-five
Matthew Helser (Mid/Long Distance / Cross Country, 5-8, Jr., Big Lake, Minn. / Spectrum HS)
- CSC Academic All-Region
- Four-time NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence
- All-NSIC in the 800m
- Took third in the 800m at the NSIC Indoor Championships
- Won the 800m at the Holst Invitational and the Spartan Open
- Helped the Sprint Medley Relay team to a win at the Norse Invite
- Top finisher on the team at the Roy Griak Invite
- Took 31st at the NSIC Cross Country Championships
Jakob Tordsen (Multi-Event, 6-3, Sr., Wausau, Wis. / Wausau West HS)
- CSC Academic All-Region
- Six-time NSIC All-Academic Team of excellence
- Two-time USTFCCCA All-America (heptathlon)
- USTFCCCA All-Region in the heptathlon
- 2021-22 USTFCCCA All-America First Team (decathlon)
- NSIC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year
- NSIC Champion in the heptathlon
- Three-time All-NSIC in the heptathlon & All-NSIC in the high jump
- NCAA Champion in the heptathlon
- NSIC record holder in the heptathlon
- School record holder in the high jump, pole vault, heptathlon, javelin and decathlon
