SMITHVILLE, Mo. - Isabella Dory captured the tournament crown at the NSIC Championship on Sunday, becoming the first individual medalist in Concordia-St. Paul school history. The junior shot a 222 (+6) over the three days, breaking the 54-hole tournament record set by Augustana's Kali Trautman in 2016-17 by one stroke. As a team the Golden Bears finished in fifth with a team score of 987 (+123). 

Concordia remained ahead of sixth place Southwest Minnesota State (+139) by 16 strokes and closed out the tournament 19 strokes behind fourth place Minnesota State (+102). Augustana (+68) defeated Winona State (+77) by nine strokes to win their third straight conference championship and 12th in school history. Wayne State capped off the top three at +85. 

Dory shot a 78 (+6) on Sunday, adding to her 73 and 71 from the first two rounds to take first place by seven strokes over second place Molly Stevens of Augustana and Jazmine Taylor of Wayne State.The junior finished with the best par-3 and par-4 scoring tournament at 3.00 (E) and 4.17 (+5) respectively. She also totaled the second most birdies over the three rounds with nine. 

Anna Tollette and Piper Hill tied for 20th in the 64 player field with 249 strokes (+33). Tollette finished round three with an 85 (+13) to close out her best performance at the NSIC Championship. Hill was Concordia's biggest mover on day three, shooting a 82 (+10) to move up eight spots into the top-20. 

Darby Barstad rounded out the Golden Bears team with a 267 (+51) to finish in 41st. The freshman shot a 90 in round three, improving her Saturday total by two strokes.
