SMITHVILLE, Mo. - On day three of the NSIC Championships, Concordia-St. Paul and sophomore Isabella Dory each produced their best round of the tournament and each finished in sixth place at the Paradise Pointe Outlaw Course on Sunday.

Battling a windy weekend in Missouri, the Golden Bears produced rounds of 342, 348 and 329 to finish at 1,019 as a team (+155), finishing 10 shots behind fifth place Winona State and eight strokes ahead of Southwest Minnesota State, who turned in a final round 337 as CSP broke out of the second round tie with the Mustangs in a strong finish.

Dory saved her best round for last, as well, shooting a 75 (+3) which was tied for the fourth-best round of the three round event to move up three spots on the final day to an outright sixth place finish among 65 total players on the individual leaderboard. She finished at 81-74-75 (240) to shoot +24, three strokes out of a top-5 finish.

Two Golden Bears carded top-10 finishes as sophomore Jessica Hagman held her ground on the final day, shooting an 84 to match her second round to finish at 247 (+31) for the tournament and in a tie for 10th place, remaining in the top-10 all three rounds.

It was a career-low three round tournament score for each of the sophomores, Dory beating her previous best by eight shots and Hagman topping her previous mark by 18. Dory's +3 third round also tied for the third-best single round score of the season for the team and was her second lowest.

The Golden Bears continued their strong play on par 3 holes as a team, finishing second in the tournament (+39) while finishing seventh in both par 4 (+122) and par 5 (+65) scoring. Concordia's 13 birdies tied for the third most, as well, while producing 98 pars as a team.

On day three, Concordia shot seven birdies led by Hagman's three (holes 5, 9, 12) while Katelyn Baribeau added a pair (6, 9) with Anna Tollette (7) and Dory (9) each sinking one as the Golden Bears dropped in three team birdies on hole 9.

Dory's final round, which began on hole 10, had her sitting +2 at the turn with four straight pars to start her day, with another streak of four straight pars following back-to-back bogeys on holes 14-15. She ended strong, as well, putting together her third streak of four pars from 5-8 before turning in a birdie on her final hole (9). Overall, Dory was the fifth-ranked player in the field on par 4 holes (+13), the eighth-ranked on par 3 (+6) and ninth-ranked on par-5 holes (+5). Her consistent play across all three lengths was backed by her 31 pars, tied for the third-most in the field while adding a pair of birdies.

The second-best score of the round for CSP belonged to Tollette, who shot an 81 backed by a strong finish with five pars and a birdie among her final eight holes.

Hagman's 84 was the third-ranked score of the day for CSP at 84, recovering from a double-bogey on her first hole of the day (11) by shooting a birdie and a pair of pars. She finished strong, as well, dropping in three pars and two birdies down the stretch among her last seven holes of the day. Her seven total birdies were the second-most in the tournament, adding 20 pars. She was the tournament's second-ranked player on par 5 holes (+1) and was just a stroke behind Dory on par 3 scoring (+7).

Baribeau finished with three birdies while tying for eighth in the field on par 3 holes (+6).

Concordia's scorecard was rounded out by the league's Most Outstanding Senior of the Year, Erika Olson, who finished at 287 overall and tied for 51st. Her 85.51 career average is ranked 16th in school history in a program with numerous NCAA team and individual competitors on the regional and national scale, and she adds four top-10 and a pair of top-5 finishes to her CSP golf resume.
