BAY CITY, Mich. - Concordia-St. Paul senior
Delaney Davidson became the third player to earn GLIAC Player of the Week honors, as the league office announced her as GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Davidson is the sixth player in program history to earn a GLIAC Player of the Week honor, the third this year and the and the fourth to pick up the offensive award. She was joined by Grand Valley State senior defender Leigha Johnson who earned GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week.
Davidson (New Westminster, B.C.) came within a goal and a point of CSP's single game records in Friday night's win over Davenport, scoring eight goals and adding an assist in a 15-12 victory over the Panthers. The senior transfer has had a big year for CSP, topping 100 career points and goals while leading the team in goals (41) and points (51) on the season. She's produced 12 multi-goal games including the high-mark for the squad this season (8) on Friday.
