BOLIVAR, Mo. - Concordia-St. Paul women's golf continued its spring season at the Midwest Intercollegiate, hosted by Drury University at Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club, competing in the second round on Tuesday.
The Golden Bears dropped eight strokes off their team score in the second round, slipping to an 11th place finish in the 17-team tournament. CSP shot rounds of 341 and 333, finishing at 674 overall.
Isabella Dory led Concordia, finishing 20th overall among 92 competitors, shooting rounds of 81-80 for a 161 total. She shot the team's top rounds each day, as well.
Anna Tollette and
Erika Olson finished tied for second on the team with 171 final scores, shooting opposite rounds of 86 and 85, with Olson going low the first and Tollette the second round.
Katelyn Baribeau showed the biggest improvement in round two, dropping 12 shots off her total with an 82 in the second round as all five players scored during the two round event.
Jilli Newman rounded out the second round with an 88, also trimming a shot off her score in the second round.
Central Missouri (623) took the top spot by a stroke over Central Oklahoma (624), with UCM's Nicole Rallo tying for individual medalist honors at 152 (+8), tied with McKenna Montgomery of Lindenwood University.
The Golden Bears continue spring play next week with another Monday-Tuesday event at the Holiday Inn Express Classic at Joseph Country Club hosted by Missouri Western State in St. Joseph, Missouri.
