PITTSBURG, Kan. – On day two of the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships, Concordia-St. Paul seniors Jakob Tordsen and Arika Robinson both secured Second Team All-America honors as Tordsen took ninth in the heptathlon and Robinson took 11th in the pentathlon on Saturday afternoon.

Tordsen, who entered the day one spot outside of an All-America slot in 13th, finished the meet strong with fourth place finish in the pole vault with a height of 14'3.25" while taking 12th in both the 60 meter hurdles and the 1000 meter run.

His total of 5139 points put him one spot away from earning First Team honors as he trailed UC-Colorado Springs' Thorben Hast by 107 points. Texas A&M-Kingsville's Jonathan Harper finished in the top spot with 5751 points.

One day after becoming the program's first ever National Champion with an incredible performance in the high jump, Robinson added another All-America pick, her second of the weekend and third of her career, as her 3644 points were good for 11th place in the pentathlon. In addition to earning First Team All-America honors in the high jump on Friday, Robinson also received Second Team All-America honors in the same event last season.

As expected, the St. Paul's native's best finish in the pentathlon came in the high jump as her height of 5'9.25" earned her 928 points and a second place finish. She added a seventh place finish and 680 points with a distance of 17'9.75" in the long jump. Robinson rounded out the meet with a 10th place result in the 60m hurdles to go along with a pair of 11th place finishes in the shot put and the 800 meter run.

Robinson narrowly missed a top-10 finish as she trailed Asuza Pacific's Alysa Henry by just 13 points while finishing just 62 points out of sixth place in a jam packed field. Saginaw Valley State's Cheyenna Williamson was crowned as the National Champion with 4292 points.

The Golden Bears will return to action in the outdoor season on March 25-26 at the ESU Relays in Emporia, Kan.
