BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The Concordia-St. Paul football team had a pair of players honored on the 2022 All-NSIC North Division Second Team with sophomore running back Jaylin Richardson and junior linebacker Andrew Egnarski securing the awards as nominated and voted by the league's North Division head football coaches.
 

#1 Jaylin Richardson (RB, 6-0, 202, So., Kansas City, Kan. / FL Schlagle HS / Northern Iowa)
  • 2022 All-NSIC North Division Second Team
  • Ranked 7th NSIC & 70th DII in all-purpose yards per game (103.2)
  • Ranked 10th NSIC & 91st DII in rushing yards per game (65.2)
  • Ranked 7th NSIC with a 5.6 yards per carry season average
  • In nine games, compiled a team-high 929 all-purpose yards and 587 rushing yards
  • Finished second on the team with four total touchdowns, two rushing & two receiving
  • A dual threat, had 23 catches for 244 yards out of the backfield
  • Rushed for a career-high 175 yards on 14 carries including a long of 74 and 207 all-purpose yards in week two at SMSU
  • Had four 100-plus yard all-purpose performances and topped 85 all-purpose yards in eight of nine games played
  • In two seasons at CSP, has played in 16 games with 821 rushing yards, 38-329 receiving, 9-197 kickoff returns, six total TDs and 1,360 all-purpose yards


#6 Andrew Egnarski (LB, 6-0, 220, Jr., Pulaski, Wis. / Pulaski HS)
  • 2022 All-NSIC North Division Second Team
  • Expected to be a three-time NSIC All-Academic Team selection
  • Ranked 1st NSIC & 8th DII in total tackles per game (10.8)
  • Ranked 2nd NSIC & 14th DII in solo tackles per game (5.6)
  • Set a school record with a 2022 NSIC single-game high 22 tackles, third-most in DII on the season, in week nine against UMary
  • Led CSP with 97 total tackles in nine games and six starts
  • Finished third on the defense with 5.0 tackles for loss
  • Added a forced fumble and a fumble recovery
  • Recorded 19 tackles in week six at Bemidji State, second-most in a game in the NSIC in 2022 and third-most in CSP history
  • Finished the season with 10-plus tackles in the final six games
  • In 31 career games and two years as a starter, has compiled 180 total tackles, 12.0 TFLs, 5.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, two recoveries and an INT
