ST. PAUL, Minn. - This weekend, the Concordia-St. Paul swim team will stay in St. Paul to compete in their seventh event of the season at St. Catherine University located at the Butler Center.

The events will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 11. Concordia will be one of four teams competing.

The Golden Bears previously competed at the Roger Ahlman Invitational hosted by Macalester where they took fifth place out of six teams. Stephanie De Leon led the team, as she competed and scored in four individual events and was part of all three scoring relay races. She produced double-digit points in three of the four and scored four points in the other. De Leon swam her season best in the 200 IM, 100 fly and 100 breaststroke.

Head coach Rachel Busch says, "With a solid, consistent week of training for everyone, I am looking forward to times coming down from last weekend. The girls continue to work hard and have fun at practice, and I am excited for them to see their hard work pay off in the pool. Girls are racing to their strengths on Saturday and it will be fun to see them be competitive against the other three teams."

Teams competing at the meet include St. Kate's, Augsburg University, Concordia St. Paul and University of Jamestown.
