WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Concordia-St. Paul women's golf team wrapped up their fall schedule at the Midwest Classic on Tuesday afternoon in Warrensburg, Mo. in a tie for 11
th place with 654 team strokes (+94).
The 36-hole tournament was held at the par 70, 5618-yard Mules National Golf Club. 18 teams competed in the tournament, including seven from the NSIC. Apart from CSP, the NSIC competitors were Augustana, Minnesota State, Southwest Minnesota State, Upper Iowa, Wayne State, and Winona State. The Bears finished fifth in that group, coming in just two strokes behind ninth-place Southwest Minnesota State and 15 strokes ahead of 14th-place Minnesota State. Host school Central Missouri claimed the tournament title with a team score of 593 (+33).
Isabella Dory jumped up to the top spot for CSP on day two, moving up three spots to a tie for 37
th with a total score of 161 (+21).
Katelyn Baribeau made a massive leap in the second round, jumping 25 spots to a tie for 40
th with a new career-low individual round score of 77 (+7) to bring her tournament total to 162 (+22). Individual golfer
Jilli Newman also finished in a tie for 40
th with a score of 162 (+22).
Sophomore
Anna Tollette knocked three strokes off her score from round one, shooting an 80 (+10) in round two to finish the tournament in a tie for 46
th overall with 163 strokes (+23).
Jessica Hagman also improved on the second day of the tournament, shooting an 83 (+13) to bring her total score to 168 (+28) and place her in a tie for 63
rd. Rounding out the Golden Bears was
Erika Olson in a tie for 93
rd with 182 strokes (+42).
