ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Concordia-St. Paul esports team is set to debut on Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. as the Rocket League team opens up play in the NAC Esports Fall Rocket League Championship against Arkansas State.
CSP's rocket league squad will be the first to compete in the program's history, with the three-player team set to face off against Arkansas State at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday night in a best-of-five series.
The NAC Esports Fall Rocket League Championship features 61 teams from colleges and universities from all across the country competing in a five-week group stage spanning from Sept. 23 to Oct. 24 followed by a single-elimination tournament bracket. Each team will play two matches a week, played on Mondays and Thursdays, throughout the five-week group stage. CSP received a bye in the first round of the group stage on Monday. Each round will be played as a best-of-five series.
