SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Golden Bears (6-10, 5-7 NSIC) lost a tough road contest to Augustana (10-7, 7-5 NSIC) on Saturday afternoon losing 2-1. Augustana scored a 65th minute penalty kick to take the match breaking a 1-1 tie.
Brittany Kapala (Fridley, Minn.) notched her fifth goal of the season.

The Vikings took the 1-0 lead in the 25th minute scoring off a corner kick as Stacy Dally was assisted by both Jessica Madson and Jessie Huff on the goal. Thirteen minutes late
Arielle Stimson (Lakeville, Minn.) found Kapala right in front of the net as she put the ball in the back of the net. Concordia went into half tied with the Vikings despite being out shot by a 7-3 margin.
Concordia came out in the second half with three straight shots but could not break through. CU turned away the Vikings attempts until Augustana drew a penalty in the 65th minute. Dally stepped to the spot and finished it for her second goal of the match, which proved to be the match winner.
Kim Sauberlich (Appleton, Wis.) had a shot denied in the 90th minute as CU fell 2-1.
The Golden Bears will be back in action tomorrow afternoon as they take on Wayne State at 1:00 p.m.
