The senior backstop hit .571 (12-21) in six starts last week as the Golden Bears went 3-3. He had a pair of doubles, nine RBI, two walks and didn’t strikeout while posting a .625 OBP and .667 slugging percentage. Defensively, he didn’t commit an error and opponents only stole three bases against Concordia in the six games. Beilke’s week was punctuated by a 5-for-5, 7-RBI performance in a 23-9 game three win at Bemidji State on Saturday. He hit safely in all six games and holds a nine game hitting streak with at least two hits in six of those contests to raise his average from .281 to .371.
