Zach Moore, the NSIC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year, ended the season with a 2.0 sack, 2.5 tackle for loss performance to lead a Golden Bear defense that held Winona State to 27 rushing yards on 22 attempts.
Further, the Concordia pass rush produced 7.0 sacks and 10.0 tackles for loss while the defense forced four turnovers (three fumbles, one INT) because of the constant pressure.
Moore had a fumble recovery, two hurries and batted down a ball at the line of scrimmage while also making four tackles.
Concordia allowed just 233 yards of total offense and also stopped the powerful Warrior offense twice on downs.
The two-time NSIC Sack Champion (2010, 2012) finished his senior year ranked fifth in the NSIC in sacks (7.0) and his 33.0 career sacks rank ninth in Division II history.
