Concordia Career:
2016: Appeared in all 11 games as the long snapper for the Golden Bears … recorded eight total tackles (four solo, four assists) on the year … recorded three total tackles against Augustana (11/15) … had at least one tackle in five straight games.

2015: NSIC All-Academic ... USA College Football Preseason All-America honorable mention ... appeared in and started three games for the Golden Bears on the offensive line ... season cut short due to injury ... selected as recipient of Getzlaff Memorial Scholarship.

2014: All-NSIC South Division honorable mention ... NSIC All-Academic ... started at either left guard or left tackle in all 11 contests ... part of Concordia Offensive Lineman of the Week crew that earned the honor as starters against SMSU (11/8) and Augustana (11/15) ... paved the way for six team rushing performances of at least 194 yards and a 2,000 team rushing season ... part of offensive line that allowed just 1.27 sacks per game to rank 30th in Division II football ... part of offensive line that allowed just 5.18 tackles for loss per game to rank 25th in Division II ... Concordia's offense ranked 12th in Division II football in time of possession (33:33) ... helped protect the team's three starting quarterbacks who combined to throw just nine interceptions.

2013: Played in eight games with four starts as a true freshman … finished the season with a grade of 76.1% and no sacks allowed … graded out a season high 92.6% against Winona State (11/17/13) … graded at 90.6% at Augustana (11/2/13) … recorded a grade of 90% or higher in two games … had a grade of 70% or higher in seven of eight games.

Middleton High School: 
Earned two football letters as a prep for the Cardinals ... as the only junior to start every game, helped Cardinals to an 8-2 finish including WIAA Division I playoff appearance ... as a senior captain, led Cardinals to 5-3 regular season finish and another WIAA DI playoff appearance ... All-Big Eight Conference First Team as a senior ... two year starter at right guard ... was team weightlifting capting as a junior and senior ... earned the Team Dedication and Team Strength & Conditioning awards as a senior ... Team Academic Honors Award recipient. 

Personal: 
Born July 29, 1995 ... son of Bob and Wendy Coyne ... has two older brothers, Alex and Seth ... a criminal justice major with minors in sociology and political science ... is interested in a career in law enforcement as a police officer ... is a four-time Dean's List student and the Criminal Justice Club President on campus ... his grandfather, Mike Coyne, was a defensive lineman for Wisconsin (1944) football and Wisconsin-Platteville (1946-48) football and is a member of the UW-Platteville Athletic Hall of Fame ... his uncle, Brad Rogeberg, was a linebacker at the University of Wisconsin (1990).
