Jason Obarski

Obarski joined the Concordia football staff as a student assistant in the 2012 spring season. He works primarily with the kickers and punters while interning as offensive coach.

He was a member of the North Dakota State University football team for the 2008 and 2009 seasons before transfering to St. Olaf College where he was an All-MIAC kicker and punter for the Oles in 2010 and 2011.

The Dean's List student will finish his degree in the spring of 2013 at Concordia in sport management.

Outside of his career as a student-athlete and student-coach, Obarski serves as an athletic director at St. Dominic School (Northfield, Minn.) and is an assistant director for the Minnesota Football Coaches Association (MFCA) All-Star Game.

He was a three-time All-State kicker and punter at Apple Valley High School.

Jason is the son of Mark and Barb Obarski and has two brothers, John and Tom; and two sisters, Kelly and Kim. His brother, Tom, is a member of the Concordia football team.
