EJ Shelby rejoins the CSP football coaching staff in 2019, previously working a year as a student assistant in 2015 with the Golden Bears. He'll work with the wide receivers in his second stint with the staff.
After leaving Concordia, Shelby attended Arizona State while simultaneously continuing to grow his coaching profile with stops at St. Norbert College (2016), St. Olaf College (2017) and Hamline University (2018), working with the wide receivers at each spot while gaining experience in recruiting Minnesota, Wisconsin and every state east of the Mississippi River as well as Texas and Oklahoma.
He began his college career at College of the Desert, transferring to complete his career at Taylor University. He was a two-sport athlete at each spot, earning All-Conference Second Team honors in football in 2011 for College of the Desert.
A native of Alabama, Shelby also served his country after high school and currently resides in Dayton, Minnesota with his wife, Erin and their four children: Alayna, Braylen, Blake and Carter.
