Concordia University St. Paul Athletics

Harmon begins his fourth year as an assistant coach in the 2015 season with nearly a decade of coaching experience.

His most recent stop prior to Concordia was as offensive coordinator for La Jaya Community School in Avondale, Ariz. where he also taught physical education.

Prior to his offensive coordinator position, he was the head freshman coach in his hometown at Onalaska High School (Wis.) as he completed his degree in physical education and coaching at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2006. He coached the freshman team from 2002-05 while pursuing his degree along the way.

While at La Joya HS, Harmon continued to actively pursue his education, earning a master's in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University in 2012.

His teaching profession brought him back to the Midwest in the summer of 2012 as he received a physical education teaching position at Highland Park Junior High in St. Paul, Minn.

Ben resides in Eagan, Minn. with his wife, Lauren.
