Bishop Heelan Catholic High School:
A two-sport athlete for the Crusaders, earning two letters in football and one in baseball … earned All-Missouri River Activities Conference First Team honors and All-City Second Team honors … Pride Award … a two-way player, had 586 rushing yards and four touchdowns on offense and 62 total tackles (42 solo), 11 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and an interception on defense … helped the Crusaders to a 14-4 record, state runner-up finish and a Missouri River Activities Conference championship … an honor roll student all four years and a three-time Student of the Month.
 
Personal:
A biology major, also interested in academic paths in finance, Spanish and marketing … aspires to become a dentist … has numerous relatives who have played college football: father was a running back at the University of Nevada and University of South Dakota … older brothers were a running back at MSU Moorhead and a defensive back at Minnesota State Mankato … uncle was a defensive back at the University of South Carolina … uncle was a wide receiver at UC-Davis … uncle was a defensive back at the University of Nevada … one of four boys in his family, also has a younger brother.
