CONCORDIA ANNOUNCES 13 PLAYERS COMMIT TO PLAY FOOTBALL IN 2005

Feb. 02– Concordia football coach Mark Mauer has announced that 13 players have committed to play for the Bears for the 2005 season. Mauer’s first recruiting class includes eight players from the state of Minnesota and seven transfer students. The class includes eight players on offense, four on defense and one special teams player.

The Bears are coming off a 7-4 season where they finished 5-3 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). Below is a list of the players that have committed to Concordia for the 2005 season.

FOOTBALL GETS TEN MORE COMMITMENTS FOR 2005

Feb. 24– Concordia football coach Mark Mauer has announced ten players have signed National Letters of Intent to play for CSP in 2005. They join 13 players who have already signed this spring. The 2005 recruiting class includes 12 players from Minnesota and ten transfer students. It breaks down into 14 offenses players, eight for the defense and one special teams.
