2017-18: Competed in 22 rounds, averaging 79.5 strokes per round, fourth on the team … shot his best 36-hole round at the UIU Invite (3/29-30), finishing 18^th out of 49 competitors with a 152 … had his best individual round of the season at the MSSU Fall Invitational, shooting a 73.

Clear Lake High School:
Earned 10 combined letters as a three-sport athlete for the Lions, four in golf (thru junior year) and three each in football and basketball ... two-time team captain and two-time All-State First Team and All-Conference First Team selection ... three-time Iowa State Tournament participant and two-time Iowa All-State Tournament Second Team performer (junior & senior) ... averaged a 38.3 on nine holes and shot a low 18 hole round of 71 ... two-time basketball captain and senior captain of the football team ... helped the team to a 2014 North Central Conference championship, placing fourth at the Iowa Class 3A Championships ... helped the team to another fourth place finish at state in the 2016 Iowa Class 2A championships ... as a senior, helped lead the team to a 2017 Iowa Class 2A State Championship and a dual conference title  ... an All-Sub-State and All-Conference performer as a junior and senior in basketball and a two-time All-District football player as a defensive back as a junior and as a utility selection as a senior ... earned Academic All-State Football honors and was the Clear Lake Offensive Player of the Year on the gridiron, also securing Prep of the Week honors ... had the most passing yards in a game in six years ... in basketball, was named the Prep-Hoops NCC Preseason Player of the Year entering senior year, as he would go on to set the single game three-pointers made record (10), become the all-time three-pointers made record (149) at CLHS, was named KIMT Student-Athlete of the Week and left the basketball team as the sixth-ranked scorer in program history with 985 points ... averaged 20 points per game as a junior and senior with a single game high of 35 ... named the Globe Gazette Male Athlete of the Year ... outside of athletics, was a four year A-honor roll student, the vice president of student council and National Honor Society, Silver Cord recipient for volunteer and community service, was instrumental in forming local Clear Lake High School chapter of FCA and was an FCA co-leader ... also involved in band and is a youth sports volunteer coach in basketball and golf.

Personal:
Owns and operates a lawn mowing business with his two brothers ... will major in business at CSP ... his parents are alumni of the University of Northern Iowa ... his father was a linebacker for the UNI Panthers from 1983-87.
