2009: Named NSIC Player of the Week (3/3/09) as he hit his first two career home runs, the first a walk-off home run in the eighth inning in an 8-7 win over St. John's (2/25/09) with the second homer breaking a 7-7 tie in the fourth inning in what turned out to be the game winning home run as well, both homers came at the Metrodome over the infamous "Baggie" in right field ... played and started the first 29 games of the season before suffering season-ending injury ... earned starting shortstop job as true freshman and helped team to a 20-9 record ... started first seven games as the sixth hitter in the lineup with Concordia going 5-2 in those games ... moved to fifth spot in order with a 15-7 record in those games ... had first career hit against Northern State (2/4/09) in second career game, going 3-4 with four runs, a double and an RBI while also getting on with an HBP ... in two games against Mayville State (3/5/09) went 3-5 with three runs, four RBI, a double, triple and three walks with first two career stolen bases ... in three game series against U-Mary (3/16/09), went 7-10 with six runs, five RBI, two doubles and five walks ... had 13 multi-hit games with four three-hit performances ... had six multi-RBI games with three RBI against Mayville State (3/5/09) and U-Mary (3/16/09) ... committed only one error at shortstop with 34 put outs and 61 assists while turning eight double plays.
