ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia-St. Paul women's soccer team (3-1-5, 2-1-3) returns to the road for NSIC action this weekend, facing Minnesota Crookston on Friday before taking on MSU Moorhead on Sunday.
The Navy and Gold will travel west, first facing Minnesota Crookston (0-6-3, 0-5-1) at 3 p.m. on Oct. 2, followed by MSU Moorhead (2-5-2, 1-4-1) at 1 p.m. on Oct. 4.

Starting with the 2026-27 season, Concordia and the NSIC will call Midco Sports Plus the streaming home for the NSIC Network. Midco Sports Plus, a regional cable provider primarily based in North Dakota, South Dakota, and parts of Minnesota, features an expanded variety of online sports coverage.
The NSIC Network will be part of a subscription service with annual access plans starting at under $7 per month for the full year ($79/year) or a monthly service for $15, which includes NSIC coverage as well as Summit League coverage.
Concordia's home broadcasts will continue to feature multiple cameras with instant replay, along with commentary from St. Paul-native Dan Flanagan, a graduate of Fordham University (N.Y.), where he covered multiple NCAA Division I sports teams on campus for the Rams, including football and basketball in the Patriot League. Flanagan has been the broadcast voice of the Golden Bears for nearly 20 years and called multiple national, regional, and conference championships.

RECAP OF THE WEEK
The Golden Bears hosted NSIC opponents, recording a pair of draws with a 0-0 draw against Augustana and a 1-1 draw with Wayne State.
Sunday's draw marked Concordia's fifth of the season, the most draws the Golden Bears have recorded in a season since 2022.
Game One: CSP 0, AUGUSTANA 0
The Golden Bears moved to 4-14-3 all-time against the Vikings following their 0-0 draw.
UMary controlled the first half, maintaining possession and keeping play in CSP's
Sydney Potter highlighted the Golden Bears' defensive effort in net, recording eight saves on 14 shots to keep CSP level.
In a physical first half, the Golden Bears matched the Vikings with six shots, while Augustana held advantages in shots on goal, 5-3, and corner kicks, 4-2.
The Vikings had a golden opportunity to score in the 42nd minute when Ella Weide fired a low shot toward the bottom-left corner, but Potter made the save to keep the score tied.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net, sending the game into halftime tied 0-0.
CSP opened the second half looking to find the first goal of the game, but Potter continued to keep the Golden Bears in the match, making three saves while facing eight shots in the second half. Augustana had another opportunity in the 48th minute when Laina Souerdyke's shot hit the top post.
Augustana started to get chippy with the Golden Bears late, committing five fouls compared to none by CSP. The Golden Bears had their best opportunity in the 75th minute when
Milla Klostermann fired a clean shot on goal that hit the woodwork once again.
Both teams' defenses stood strong throughout the second half, stopping everything that came their way to end the game in a 0-0 draw.
In a very even game between two of the top six teams in the NSIC, CSP held a 15-14 advantage in shots, while Augustana held an 8-7 advantage in shots on goal. The Vikings also held a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks and committed seven fouls compared to one by CSP.
Senior goalkeeper
Sydney Potter recorded a season-high eight saves, marking the second time in her career she has recorded eight or more saves in a game.
Pettit and Latta each tallied a team-high four shots, while Klostermann added three.
Freshman
Jeanette Bermudez made her first career start on defense, playing 61 minutes in the effort.
Game Two: CSP 1, WAYNE STATE 1
CSP moved to 18-9-4 all-time against the Wildcats, marking their fourth draw in the all-time series.
Lexi Pettit spearheaded the Golden Bears' efforts, scoring CSP's lone goal to tie the game at 1-1 in the first half. The goal marked her third of the season and sixth of her career. Pettit's three goals this season are already a career high through nine games.
In the first half, CSP controlled possession for much of the period, but Wayne State created several significant scoring opportunities. The Wildcats capitalized in the 10th minute on a well-placed corner kick from Addison Vodnansky, which was headed in by Sarah Pritchard.
CSP didn't let the goal slow them down, answering in the 24th minute on a tightly threaded pass from
Ashley Bennett, with
Lexi Pettit finishing the chance to tie the game at 1-1.
The Golden Bears held a 13-5 shot advantage at halftime, including two shots on goal, while CSP committed two fouls to the Wildcats' one. CSP also held a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Coming out of halftime, CSP looked to carry its momentum into the second half, limiting the Wildcats' chances to regain possession while continuing to move the ball forward.
The Golden Bears came out hungry for a goal in the second half, maintaining possession in the offensive zone for most of the period. CSP created several strong scoring opportunities, but Wayne State goalkeeper Alexa Hofstetter made several key saves to keep the Golden Bears off the scoreboard.
CSP created several scoring opportunities in the final minutes as the Golden Bears searched for the go-ahead goal. Neither side could find the breakthrough, as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Concordia controlled the second half statistically, outshooting Wayne State 19-4 while holding a 9-0 advantage in shots on goal and a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.
CSP recorded a season-high 32 shots compared to Wayne State's nine and held an 11-3 advantage in shots on goal.
The 32 shots tied for ninth all-time in CSP history and marked the most since the Golden Bears recorded 36 shots against MSU Moorhead last season.
Ashley Bennett recorded her first assist of the season on the Golden Bears' lone goal, giving her seven career assists.
Leading the defense for the Golden Bears were
Maddison Balashaitis, Madeline Thompson and
Morgan Bilczewski, who each played all 90 minutes for CSP. Balashaitis and Bilczewski have now played all 90 minutes together in four consecutive games.

Haase ranks second in the NSIC and leads the Golden Bears with seven goals this season, tied for fifth in Division II. She is also tied for second in the conference with three game-winning goals.
Pettit is tied for second in the NSIC and leads the Golden Bears with three assists this season.
Pettit leads the Golden Bears and ranks second in the NSIC with 35 shots, while ranking third in the conference with 17 shots on goal.
Maddison Balashaitis,
Brooke Nelson, and Haase have each played at least 740 minutes this season, with Balashaitis leading the team with 810 minutes played.
Potter leads the Golden Bears with nine 90-minute starts and ranks third in the NSIC with a 0.56 goals-against average. She also ranks third in save percentage at .865, sixth in saves with 32 and is tied for second with four shutouts.

The two programs have met a total of 28 times with the Golden Bears holding a 20-6-2 all-time advantage. CSP has won nine straight matchups against Minnesota Crookston.

Cox started all 18 matches for MSU Moorhead in 2025, playing 1,498 minutes in the midfield. Her total ranks among the top 10 in program history for a single season. Cox also recorded 19 shots and four assists.
Jaraczeski led the Dragons in minutes played in 2025, logging 1,553 ticks, the seventh-most in a single season in school history. The Great Falls, Mont., native was a pivotal piece to the Dragon backline and fixes to remain in that role in 2026.
