Golden Bears finish sixth in NSIC All-Sports standings

CSP women finish fourth, men place seventh

6.4.26

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) released its final All-Sports standings following the 2025-26 season with Concordia-St. Paul finishing in sixth place overall among the conference's 16 member institutions.

The Golden Bear women secured a fourth-place finish, while the CSP men placed seventh. Concordia collected a total of 132.5 points in the overall standings, finishing 11 points ahead of seventh-place Wayne State (Neb.) and just eight points behind fifth-place Sioux Falls (S.D.). Minnesota State earned the NSIC All-Sports Award for the third consecutive season with a total of 226.5 points.

Since 2017-18, the NSIC recognizes an overall champion along with a men's and a women's champion. Minnesota State also earned the women's awards as it scored 140.0 points. Augustana earned the men's award after scoring 94.0 points.  The Mavericks and Vikings will be presented their awards on Tuesday, July 7 at the NSIC Hall of Fame Banquet in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The NSIC All Sports Award is calculated by awarding the winner of each conference-sponsored championship points totaling the number of teams in that sport plus one. The next place finisher receives points totaling the number of teams less the number of places from first place. Ties in the standings at any level result in the totaling of points and equal distribution.
