ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia-St. Paul women's lacrosse team (4-5, 1-0 GLIAC) is set to head east for a pair of crucial road tests, taking on the Panthers of Davenport (6-3, 1-0 GLIAC) and the Lakers of Grand Valley State (1-7, 0-0 GLIAC).
Action will start with the Panthers on Friday, Mar. 27 at 1 p.m CT in Grand Rapids, Mich. at the DU Turf Field before the Golden Bears will finish the weekend on Sunday, Mar. 29 in Allendale, Mich. First draw will take place at 11 a.m. CT at the GVSU Lacrosse Stadium against the Lakers.
LAST TIME OUT
Game One: CSP 17, SVSU 6
The Golden Bears are now 3-0 all-time against the Cardinals and 2-0 at home, outscoring SVSU 55-11 in the three meetings.
Concordia notched a season-high 49 shots and 42 shots on goal, tying both program records that were set on Mar. 3, 2017 against Northern Michigan during the team's inaugural season.
Leading the high-powered attack for the Navy and Gold was the duo of Susie Monson and Shelby Marik who combined for nine goals and continue to rank first and second on the team in total goals this season.
Junior goalkeepers Marge Lucio and Erika Holm both saw action during the match up, Lucio earning her sixth start of the season and making three saves to record her 200th career save in the Navy and Gold.
Holm came in to start the second half, making three saves to bring her season total to 28.
Shelby Hansen saw one of her best overall games of the season, tallying two goals, two assists, seven shots, five ground balls and one caused turnover to earn her seventh-straight game with a point.
Monson led the team with seven draw controls, bringing her season total to 48 and winning four crucial draws during the fourth quarter to keep the ball in the hands of the Golden Bears.
Marik continued her stellar freshman campaign, notching six points and bringing her season total to 25. She has now scored a point in every game this season.
As a team, the Golden Bears went a perfect 19-19 on clear attempts, their most successful clear attempts since last season against No. 22 Grand Valley State.
SEASON LEADERS
Freshman Shelby Marik continues to lead the Navy and Gold's offensive attack, recording 24 goals this season. Her total goals rank third in the GLIAC.
Senior Susie Monson has asserted herself as someone to watch on all ends of the field, tallying 21 goals (5th in GLIAC), nine assists (T-4th in GLIAC), 30 points (4th in GLIAC), 62 shots (2nd in GLIAC), 48 draw controls (2nd in GLIAC) , and 12 caused turnovers (T-6th in GLIAC).
Her 5.33 draw controls per game rank 28th in NCAA Division II.
Senior Claire Flahaven has been a mainstay for the Golden Bears defense, recording 23 ground balls which ranks fifth in the GLIAC and 19 caused turnovers which puts her just three short for the GLIAC lead.
Inside the net, Erika Holm and Marge Lucio have combined for 61 saves this season. Lucio ranks second in the GLIAC with 3.17 ground balls per game.

Susie Monson sits at 180 career points, 20 away from 200. She is also only 15 points away from being the program's all-time leader in points.
Natalie Brownfield sits at 44 career caused turnovers, six away from 50.
Anna Palony sits at 46 career caused turnovers, four away from 50.
Sydney Smith sits at 43 career goals, seven away from 50.
Shelby Hansen sits at 42 career points, eight away from 50.
Jenna Hamann sits at 43 career points, seven away from 50.
ABOUT THE PANTHERS
Davenport posted a (9-8, 3-5 GLIAC) record in the 2025 season and were picked to finish fourth in the GLIAC Preseason Coaches' Poll with seven points, right behind Concordia.
The Panthers currently sit at (6-3, 1-0 GLIAC) under head coach Frank Rogers who is in his first season with the program.
During this past week of play, Davenport saw a 17-6 win over Saginaw Valley State to start their GLIAC schedule strong.
Leading the Panthers this season is attack Addison Roe who has notched a team-leading 29 goals, scoring at least two goals a game through their first nine games.
HISTORY BETWEEN CSP AND DU
The two programs have met a total of 16 times dating back to March 29, 2018 where CSP earned a 13-8 win in Grand Rapids. Concordia is 11-5 all-time against Davenport and has won five of the last six games.
Last season, the Golden Bears swept the Panthers in two close games led by Anna Fisher who scored a career-high six goals in game one and Susie Monson who recorded four goals and 10 draw controls in game two.
ABOUT THE LAKERS
Grand Valley State posted a (16-4, 8-0 GLIAC) record during the 2025 season and were picked to finish first in the GLIAC Preseason Coaches' Poll with 16 points after winning their fifth straight GLIAC Tournament Championship.
GVSU has advanced to four straight NCAA Tournament appearances and have held the reins on the GLIAC Regular-Season Title for the past 12 seasons.
Last season, the Lakers made it to the Second Round of the NCAA Midwest Regional, falling 17-14 to No. 4 Maryville.
Grand Valley State currently sits at (1-7, 0-0 GLIAC) after playing a nearly entire non-conference schedule of nationally ranked opponents. The Lakers earned their first win of the season this past week 9-6 over Missouri Western State.
Leading GVSU is senior midfielder Ella Boose who has a team-leading 12 goals. Boose was an All-GLIAC Second-Team recipient last season after recording 31 goals, 43 points and 19 draw controls.
