ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia-St. Paul women's lacrosse team is set to head south for their first road trip of the season, facing the Hawks of Quincy and the Griffons of Missouri Western State.
Action will start with the Hawks on Friday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. at the QU Stadium in Quincy, Ill. The Golden Bears will then travel to St. Joseph, Mo. to face the Griffons in Craig Field at Spratt Stadium on Sunday, Mar. 1. First draw is scheduled for 1 p.m.

RECAP OF THE WEEK
Game One: CSP 12, LEWIS 6
Leading the Navy and Gold's offensive attack was freshman Shelby Marik who scored a team-leading four goals to mark her first career hat-trick.
Susie Monson continued her star-studded senior season, tallying her second hat-trick of the season and winning seven draw controls.
Failed clear attempts and turnovers from both teams brought the game clock to just under 30 seconds to play. Freshman Alayna Roehl added a score to give the Golden Bears the 12-6 victory over the Flyers.
Junior Erika Holm saw her first start of the season in net where she earned her sixth career win.
Leading the defense was senior Anna Palony who accumulated a team-leading five ground balls and had two caused turnovers. Her five ground balls marked a career-high after previously reaching four twice.
CSP out shot Lewis 38-16 and forced 34 turnovers from the Flyers. Concordia saw a season-high 16 clears in the win, their most since last season's matches with Northern Michigan and Grand Valley where they recorded 19.
Game Two: MCK 18, CSP 11
Monson became just the fourth player in program history to hit the 100 career goal milestone, scoring the first goal of the game. She joins Kailey Heinl, Alina Boyce and Maddie Hentges in the 100 club and is the first player to reach the honor since 2020.
Monson also extended her program-leading career assist record with two to sit at 60 career assists and added seven draw controls to her program lead of 259.
Freshman Shelby Marik and Alayna Roehl each recorded a hat-trick, marking a second-straight multi-goal game for Mark and first career hat-trick for Roehl. The freshman duo has combined for 16 goals so far this season.
Concordia scored six man-up goals which ties the program single-game record and is the most since March 8, 2024 against Fort Lewis. CSP also added five free-position goals, ranking fifth in single-game history, the most since April 5, 2023 against Davenport.
A pair of goals from Roehl and freshman Jayde Isaacson would not be enough and two more from McKendree would end the game 18-11 in favor of the Bearcats. Isaacson's goal marked her first collegiate goal and her fourth point of the season.
Both teams saw a combined 81 shots and 58 shots on goal. McKendree slightly edged Concordia 32-26 in shots on goal and 42-39 in shots.
Junior Marge Lucio earned her third start of the season where she made 14 saves, her most saves since a 22 save performance against Northern Michigan during the 2024 season.
As a team, the Navy and Gold went 13-16 on clear attempts and 5-9 on free-position shots.
Marik notched a team-leading 10 shots with Roehl seeing six shots on goal.
Anna Palony and Lucio each recorded three ground balls and Natalie Brownfield and Claire Flahaven forced two caused turnovers to lead the defensive effort for CSP.
SEASON LEADERS
Shelby Marik leads the Golden Bears scoring effort this season with 10 goals.
Jenna Hamann has tallied a team-leading five assists.
Susie Monson leads the team in shots (30), shots on goal (19), caused turnovers (7) and draw controls (28). Her 28 draw controls lead the GLIAC and her 7.00 draw controls per game rank seventh in NCAA Division II.
As a team, the Navy and Gold rank 21st in NCAA Division II with 21.25 ground balls per game and 25th with a 0.526 free-position percentage.
ABOUT THE HAWKS
Quincy posted a (8-8, 5-3 GLVC) record in the 2025 season and were picked to finish T-6th in the GLVC Preseason Coaches' Poll with 17 points.
The Hawks are off to a 0-2 start after falling to Rockhurst and Benedictine College to start their 2026 campaign.
Leading Quincy is junior Alaina Wilkinson who has scored a team-leading seven goals.
HISTORY BETWEEN CSP AND QU
The two programs have met a total of four times dating back to February 18, 2022 where CSP won in dominant fashion 20-5 in St. Paul.
CSP is 2-2 when playing the Hawks, with Quincy winning the last two match ups including last season's overtime 14-13 win in Quincy, Ill.
Leading the Golden Bears in last season's game was Anna Fisher who scored a game-high six goals.
ABOUT THE GRIFFONS
Missouri Western State posted a (9-8, 4-3 GLVC) record in the 2025 season and were picked to finish fourth in the GLVC Preseason Coaches' Poll with 31 points after reaching the GLVC Tournament last season.
The Griffons are off to a 3-1 start and last week saw victories over Colorado Mesa and Fort Lewis to come into the weekend on a two-game win streak.
MWSU returns Second-Team All-GLVC honoree Caetryn Gilreath who has notched six goals so far this season and won seven draw controls.

The two programs have met a total four times dating back to February 25, 2022 where CSP earned a 13-8 win. The Griffons hold a 3-1 all-time record over Concordia and have won the last three match ups.
Last season, the Navy and Gold fell 12-5 in St. Joseph led by two goals from Sara Kaiser and four caused turnovers from Natalie Brownfield.
