KEARNEY, Neb. — The Concordia-St. Paul women's golf team wrapped up play at the Central Region Preview this afternoon. The Golden Bears shot a 291 (+7) in the final round to card a 917 (+65) for the tournament, finishing in a tie for 13th place.

CSP's third round score is the lowest single round team score in program history, besting the previous record of 297 (+9) at the 2013 Upper Iowa Spring Invitational. Additionally it is the third best three-round score in program history as well, behind only a 926 (+26) at last year's Firekeeper Open and the program record three-round score of 902 (+38) at the 2016 NCAA Super Regional.

Addi Wood used a 70 (-1) final round of play to card a 221 (+8) for the tournament, moving up 20 spots to finish in a tie for 11th place. It is the second lowest 54 hole score of the sophomore's career behind her 219 (+3) at last season's Firekeeper Open.

With her 70 (-1) third round it is the third time this season she has recorded a round of par or better and 10th career round of par or better, which is the most in program history, ahead of Rachel Gray's five. Wood's third round was made possible by five birdies, including three on the front nine where she shot a 34.

Ella Matzke put together a strong final round as well, shooting a 71 (E) to card a 229 (+16) for the tournament, finishing in a tie for 39th place. Matzke's 71 (E) is a new career single round low, beating out her 72 at the CSP/MSU Fall Brawl earlier this season. Her 229 (+16) is also a new 54 hole career low, smashing her previous low of 241.

Matzke birdied three times in the final round, while making par on 11 holes to end the day at even par on both the front and back nine.

Hattie Hemthong recorded her best round of the season with a 73 (+2) third round to shoot a 230 (+17) for the tournament, finishing in 46th place. Hemthong recorded three birdies and posted a strong score of 34 on the back nine as well.

Lexi O'Donnell was the final scorer for CSP with a 77 (+6) final round and a 54 hole score of 248 (+35) to finish in 90th place. Mila Jenniges rounded out the CSP five with a 81 (+10) third round to card a 241 (+28) for the tournament, finishing  in 80th place.

Host Nebraska-Kearney finished off the tournament with a 292 (+8) final round to shoot a collective 870 (+18) for the tournament to take home the team title. Liz Lyons was the Lopers top individual finisher with a 212 (-1) three-round score, to take home individual medalist honors.

The Golden Bears will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule next week at the Indian Creek Shootout hosted by Wayne State at the Indian Creek Golf Course in Omaha.
