Three Golden Bears earn honors from Northern Sun

Segna & Juliar All-NSIC Second Team, Dahlberg earns NSIC All-Defensive Team

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Three Concordia-St. Paul baseball players were recognized as part of the 2025 All-NSIC Baseball Team and individual award winners, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. Sophomore Ian Segna (RHP) and senior Noah Juliar (OF) earned All-NSIC Second Team honors while senior Korey Dahlberg (RHP) was named to the NSIC All-Defensive Team as the lone pitching representative.
 
The teams and awards are nominated and voted on by league head coaches.
 
The three honorees between All-NSIC and NSIC Defensive Team is the most since the 2018 team had four players earn postseason honors when Gus Varland (All-NSIC First Team), Louie Varland and Drew Sannes (All-NSIC Second Team) and Connor Olson (NSIC Defensive Team) were all recognized.
 
#10 Ian Segna (RHP, 6-0, 190, So., R/R, Lakeville, Minn. / Lakeville South HS)
  • 2025 All-NSIC Second Team
  • Pitched at least 5.0 innings in nine of 10 starts
  • Had eight outings with at least 5.0 innings and three earned runs or less

  • Secured a win over Augustana (4/19/25), pitching 6.0 IP, allowing two earned runs on six hits and two walks
  • Had season-high of nine strikeouts on two occasions (vs Minot State & UM Crookston)
  • Ranks 2nd NSIC in with six wins during conference play
  • Ranks 4th NSIC in ERA in nine NSIC starts (3.16)
  • Ranks 7th NSIC with 51.1 innings pitched during league games
  • Ranks 14th NSIC with 41 strikeouts in NSIC contests
  • Ranks 14th NSIC with a .267 opponent average during league play
  • Ranks 3rd NSIC in ERA overall (3.61)
  • Ranks 3rd NSIC in wins overall (6)
  • Ranks 9th NSIC in opponent batting average overall (.262)

  • Teams only attempted nine stolen bases in his 11 starts
  • Committed no balks and had one pickoff and only three wild pitches
  • Compiled 41 strikeouts and held a .286 opponent average on the season
