MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Concordia-St. Paul men's and women's track and field teams competed among participants from NCAA Division I, II, and III at the Gary Wilson Invite hosted by the University of Minnesota on Wednesday afternoon with a pair of school records falling in the meet.

Senior Matt Krummel broke a 21-year old CSP record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase after narrowly missing the mark last weekend, clocking a time of 9:21.72 to top Collin Bredeson's 2004 record of 9:26.80.

Junior Nyadio Chan also got in on the school record action, finishing in 2:16.89 in the 800-meter run to top Emily Shoop's record of 2:17.40, a mark that was also set in the 2004 season. Chan now owns the school record in both the indoor and outdoor 800-meter run.

Senior Priestly Jibunor set a new personal record in the 400-meter dash, clocking a time of 49.28 seconds to place seventh.

Senior Calder Erick made his career debut in the 400-meter hurdles, placing sixth with a time of 54.87 seconds.

Junior Dan Otto placed in the top 10 in a pair of throwing events, landing in sixth in the shot put with a mark of 15.94 meters (52' 3.75") and eighth in the discus with a toss of 43.38 meters (142' 4").
