INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The third and final NCAA Women's Soccer Regional Rankings have been released and Concordia-St. Paul appears at No. 8 in the Central Region for the second week in a row.

This is the Golden Bears third straight week in the rankings after appearing under consideration in the alphabetical first release and now at No. 8 in the final two.

Today's release marks the final of the season before the NCAA Selection show on Monday, Nov. 17 at NCAA.com at 5:30 p.m. (CT).

The NSIC has five teams ranked in the Central Region including Minnesota State, Bemidji State and St. Cloud State who are ranked first through third. Concordia-St. Paul comes in at eighth and Augustana is ninth.

CSP has wrapped-up their regular season and will play in the NSIC Soccer Tournament Semifinals after playing to a draw with Minot State but advanced on penalty kicks in the quarterfinals this past Monday.

The NSIC Semifinals will take place on Friday, Nov. 14 in Mankato, Minn. at The Pitch against the Mavericks of Minnesota State at 1 p.m. with a trip to the NSIC Title Game on the line.

This is Concorida's third season in the regional rankings and the second consecutive season in which they appear. They made their first appearance in 2019, where they won the NSIC Regular-Season Title and made their first NCAA appearance in program-history.

Last season, CSP earned their first time back on the list since 2019 and went on to make their second NCAA Tournament appearance.

The NSIC, the Mid-America Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Great American Conference (GAC) make up the 36-team NCAA Central Region. The top eight teams in the region will advance to the NCAA region tournament. The two top-seeded teams in each region shall be offered the opportunity to host, provided minimum site selection criteria are met and a bid has been submitted.  Automatic bids are granted to the winners of the MIAA, GAC and NSIC postseason tournaments, with the remaining five spots awarded on an at-large basis.

The first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament will take place Nov. 21-22 with the Regional Championship taking place Nov. 29-30. The NCAA Elite Eight is scheduled for Dec. 5-6 before the remaining teams will travel to Colorado Spring, Colo. for the Final Four and National Championship taking place at Weidner Field on Dec. 12 and 14.
