Six Golden Bears earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

CSP soccer match the maximum number of honorees for the fourth consecutive season

GREENWOOD, Ind. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Soccer teams on Tuesday afternoon, and Concordia-St. Paul had six selections for the fourth consecutive season. 

The recipients included Sophia Haase, Stella Nielsen, Lexi Pettit, Sydney Potter, Clare Snapko and McKayla Stockness. 

With six selections, the CSP soccer program has now had 35 total selections in program-history and sees Haase and Clare Snapko earn repeat selections for the second year in a row. 

Snapko, Haase and Potter have been considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-American ballot. The CSC Academic All-America Teams will be voted on by members of the College Sports Communicators and will be announced in mid-December. 

To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore athletically and academically and must be a significant contributor who competes in 90 percent of the institution's matches or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches. 

#17 Sophia Haase (MF, 5-6, Jr., Monticello, Minn., Monticello HS) 

  • 2025 CSC Academic All-District 

  • Two -time All-NSIC First-Team 

  • 2024 CSC Academic All-America Third Team 

  • D2CCA All-Central Region First Team 

  • 2024 CSC Academic All-District

  • NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence 

  • NSIC Offensive Player of the Week (10/13/25)

  • Tallied six game-winning goals, ranks fifth in NCAA Division II

  • Leads NSIC with 81 shots and 45 shots on goal

  • Her 2.37 shots on goal per game ranks eight in NCAA Division II

#30 Stella Nielsen (MF/D, 5-4, So., New Richmond, Wis., New Richmond HS)

  • 2025 CSC Academic All-District

  • Ranked sixth on the team with 12 points

  • Tallied a career-high three shots against UMC

  • Ranked T-3rd in the team with two assists

  • Recorded a career-high three points against SMSU

#8 Lexi Pettit (MF, 5-10, Jr., Mount Pleasant, Wis., Union Grove HS) 

  • 2025 CSC Academic All-District 

  • All-NSIC Second Team 

  • Tallied a team-leading four assists

  • Her assists rank T-4th in the NSIC

  • Recorded a career-high eight points

#99 Sydney Potter (GK, 5-7, Jr., South St. Paul, Minn., Two Rivers HS) 

  • 2025 CSC Academic All-District 

  • Two-time All-NSIC First Team 

  • D2CCA All-America Second Team 

  • D2CCA All-Central Region First Team 

  • 2024 NSIC All-Tournament Team 

  • 2024 NSIC Goalkeeper of the Year

  • Three-time NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week 

  • NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence

  • Ranks first in career all-time GAA  (0.49)

#27 Clare Snapko (MF/D, 5-5, Sr., New Hope, Minn., Robbinsdale Cooper HS)

  • 2025 CSC Academic All-District 

  • 2025 All-NSIC First Team

  • 2024 All-NSIC Second Team

  • 2024 CSC Academic All-District

  • Two-time All-Academic Team of Excellence 

  • Three-time NSIC Defensive Player of the Week 

  • Tallied a team-high 1709 minutes on the pitch

  • Ranks fifth in single-season minutes played

  • Ranks T-9th in single-season assists with six in 2024

#18 McKayla Stockness (D, 5-9, Sr., Mahtomedi, Minn., Mahtomedi HS)

  • 2025 CSC Academic All-District 

  • Three-time member of the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence

  • Tallied 11 shots on goal

  • Lead a defense that tallied 10 shutouts

  •  T-8th on the team with four points
