INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The first NCAA Women's Soccer Regional Rankings have been released and Concordia-St. Paul appears under consideration in the Central Region.
In the first release the teams are listed by alphabetical order with the first numerical rankings starting in the second release to come out next week.
This is the Golden Bears third time in the regional rankings and the second consecutive season in which they appear. They made their first appearance in 2019, where they won the NSIC Regular-Season Title and made their first NCAA appearance in program-history.
Last season, CSP earned their first time back on the list since 2019 and went on to make their second NCAA Tournament appearance.
The NSIC has five teams under consideration in the regional ranking including, Augustana, Bemidji State, Concordia-St. Paul, Minnesota State and St. Cloud State.
The Golden Bears have three games remaining in the regular season, facing Sioux Falls, Southwest Minnesota State and Winona State where they will look to finish strong in the regular-season standings.
The NSIC, the Mid-America Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Great American Conference (GAC) make up the 36-team NCAA Central Region. The top eight teams in the region will advance to the NCAA region tournament. The two top-seeded teams in each region shall be offered the opportunity to host, provided minimum site selection criteria are met and a bid has been submitted. Automatic bids are granted to the winners of the MIAA, GAC and NSIC postseason tournaments, with the remaining five spots awarded on an at-large basis.
The NCAA Women's Soccer selection show will be streamed online on Monday, Nov. 17 at NCAA.com at 5:30 p.m. (CT).
The First and Second Rounds will take place on the campus of the highest seed Nov. 21-22 with the Regional Championship taking place Nov. 29-30 before the Elite Eight on Dec. 5-6.
The 2025 NCAA Division II Women's soccer Semifinal and Championship will take place on Dec.11-13 at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, Colo.
