ST. PAUL, Minn. - On a day that featured a combined 43 top-10 finishes at the Hamline Invitational and Viking Olympics for the Concordia-St. Paul track and field team, Drake Daniels provided a major highlight as he broke the school record in the 110m.

Daniels, who broke the 60m hurdles record in the indoor season, added a second school record as he took second in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.80 seconds at the Hamline Invitational. His mark edged Zach Pederson's 2013 record of 14.82 by 0.02 seconds.

He collected one of 17 top-five results at the meet as they picked up four wins up the road at Hamline. Three of those four wins came in relays as Cadence Tanner, Chidera Osuoha, Karlina Zimmerman and Destiny Mattingly won the 4x100m relay with a time of 49.33 seconds while Mattingly, Zimmerman, Arika Harbo and Jaid Perry's time of 3:57.30 was good for first in the 4x400m relay. Thomas Dietel, Tarnue David, Ashton Brown and Priestly Jibunor took first in the 4x100m relay with a time of 41.16 seconds on the men's side.

Cadence Tanner picked up the lone individual win at the meet in the high jump as she cleared 5' 1.75". Samara Jones followed in second with a height of 4' 11.75".

At the Viking Olympics, Dan Otto and Maya Lavendusky each delivered wins as the team tallied nine finishes inside the top-five at the meet. Otto cleared 163' 5" in the discus throw while Lavendusky put up a mark of 143' 1" in the hammer throw.

Jenna Morris chipped in a second-place finish in the hammer while Cullen Feist took second in the shot put and Cade Feist took second in the shot put.

Concordia heads to Mankato for the Minnesota State Open next Saturday before returning home to host the Holst Invitational on Apr. 20.
