Concordia shot out of a cannon with a five-run inning in the first to gain early momentum that carried till the final pitch of the 16-4 game two victory.

Later, Nelson added the second home run of the game in the fifth with his first bomb of the season (fifth career) that sailed out of the park in left field to make the score 14-2.
Bemidji State battled with runs in the fifth and sixth, highlighted by Thoma's second home run of the afternoon, but it was not enough to slow the Bears from adding their final two runs in the top of the seventh to secure the run-rule victory.
