TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The Colorado Premier Challenge pits many of the top Division II programs against each other annually in Denver. The tourney is co-hosted by MSU Denver and Regis, with both campuses hosting matches throughout the weekend.

In pool play, the Golden Bears will head to MSU Denver as they take on #22 Western Washington at 3 p.m. on Friday in the opener before facing Ferris State at 7 p.m. Concordia will then be placed into one of three brackets on Saturday with match times and locations to be determined.

Live stats and live video will be available for all matches.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Concordia enters the weekend as seven-time championships of the Colorado Premier Challenge as they have taken home the top spot in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2016, 2018 and 2019.

Last season, CSP rode a four-set victory over then-#18 Lewis and a five-set win over then-#3 Western Washington to book their place in the Gold Bracket. The Golden Bears claimed a spot in the title match with a win in four sets over then-#4 MSU Denver before being swept by then-#15 Wayne State in the championship.

Concordia had a pair of players named to the Colorado Premier Challenge All-Tournament Team as Teagan Starkey and Jasmine Mulvihill were recognized after productive weekends. Starkey had at least 42 assists in all four matches and registered a pair of double-doubles as she finished with 12.69 assists per set (203 total assists) to go along with 2.56 digs per set (41 total digs) over the matches. Mulvihill added two double-doubles of her own as she tallied at least 15 kills in each match, putting up 4.37 kills per set (70 total kills) and 2.94 digs per set (47 total digs) on the weekend.

LAST TIME OUT
In the season's opening weekend, Concordia went 4-0 as they claimed 12 of 13 sets at the UP Open.

On Thursday, CSP swept Lake Superior State before picking up a four-set victory over Michigan Tech and a sweep of Northern Michigan on Friday. The Golden Bears closed out the weekend with a sweep of Hillsdale on Saturday.

Concordia's duo of Teagan Starkey and Jasmine Mulvihill each garnered UP Open All-Tournament Team honors as Starkey put up a league-leading 12.69 assists per set while Mulvihill hit an league-best .480 with 52 kills and just five errors on 98 attempts for an average of 4.00 kills per set.

IN THE POLLS
After a 4-0 start to the season, CSP maintained their spot at #2 in the AVCA Coaches Poll. Concordia has been a mainstay near the top of the poll for nearly two decades as they have only ranked outside the top-10 for three weeks since 2003, never ranking below #15. Heading into the season, the Golden Bears have ranked #1 at least once in 15 of the past 17 seasons. In total, CSP has spent an incredible 83 weeks at the top team in the country since debuting there in the 2004 preseason poll.

THE MATCHUPS
The Golden Bears will meet Western Washington for the sixth time in school history with CSP winning the previous five meetings. The last meeting also came in pool play of the Colorado Premier Challenge as Concordia picked up a five-set victory over WWU.

Concordia and Ferris State are set for the fourth meeting between the two schools with FSU going 2-1 in the first three contests. The Bulldogs won in five sets in the first meeting in 2015 and picked up a sweep in 2018 before the Golden Bears grabbed a sweep of their own in the 2019 Colorado Premier Challenge.
