After taking an early lead in the 24th minute, UMD responded with the equalizer four minutes later as the game was tied at one goal apiece going into halftime. However, the Golden Bears used a dominant second half with three goals to secure the 4-1 victory.

Sophia Haase shined for the Golden Bears with her first career to bring her point total to three for the season. The freshman made her third start of the season and her first at Sea Foam Stadium. Corynn Grabau led the CSP offensive attack that produced 12 shots (four on goal) with her third goal of the season to extend her career total to 10. Brittany Bordson added her first goal of the season with her lone shot of the match and added an assist.

Jessi Jordan collected her second win of the season in her sixth start in goal. The Rogers, Minnesota native collected five saves and faced 14 shots during her 90 minutes in goal.

Belle Abruzzo shined on the defensive side of the pitch. She notched her third assist of the season in the 90 minutes outing. Defending NSIC Defender of the Week Tori Miller added another complete game on the pitch, bringing her season total to 810 minutes.

In the first half, the two clubs traded possession as they were even in possession time after 45 minutes of action. UMD held an advantage in shots 10-4 and shots on goal 5-2, but the Golden Bears added several chances that did not result in shots.

Grabau gave Concordia an early advantage in the first half with a goal in the 24th minute from an assisted pass from Bordson. However, the Bulldogs responded with a strong offensive push with a goal from Myra Moorjani in the 28th minute following a corner kick. Neither team was unable to put anything on the net for the remaining 17 minutes as the score was 1-1 at halftime.

In the second half, Concordia dominated the pitch with a strong offensive showing. Bordson was able to head in the game-winner off a well-placed corner kick from Abruzzo. An own goal from the Bulldogs extended the Golden Bears lead to three in the 65th minute, and Haase put the game out of reach with her first career goal in the 78th minute from Amaya O'Hearn and Katie Anderson to propel Concordia to the 4-1 victory.
