BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Concordia-St. Paul senior
Amanda Parsons was named All-NSIC First Team and earned the Gold Glove award for catcher as the 2022 All-NSIC Softball Teams were announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Parsons becomes the fourth NSIC Gold Glove selection for the program, and joins Missie Feuerbach (2013) as the only two catchers to earn the honor in CSP history. She's competed for five consecutive winning teams as CSP has a 132-85 cumulative record in her career including three 30-win seasons. The Golden Bears' 35 wins (35-12-1) in 2022 is the most since the 2010 team finished 35-17, reaching the NCAA Tournament.
Parsons and the Golden Bears head to the NSIC Tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face No. 3 Winona State on Thursday at noon in Rochester, Minnesota.
