Greenwood, Ind. — College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2026 Academic All-District softball teams on Tuesday afternoon. Five Golden Bears earned All-District honors with Alexis Monty, Riley Rosenthal, Ava Blake, Abi Carter and Emmy Bowne being recognized. It is the fourth consecutive season that CSP has reached the maximum of five All-District honorees. 

Junior shortstop Alexis Monty earns her second career All-District selection, while also being selected as a CSC Academic All-America Finalist advancing to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First, second and third team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 16, 2026.  

For senior Riley Rosenthal it her third career All-District selection, after receiving the honor in 2024 and 2025. Abi Carter, Emmy Bowne and Ava Blake are first time Academic All-District honorees. 

The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. 

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.

#22 Ava Blake (OF, 5-9, So., Carver, Minn. / Chaska HS)

• Posted an .802 OPS

• Smacked a team leading 11 doubles

• Added two triples and 19 RBI 

• Stole nine bases in nine attempts

• Recorded 82 putouts and four assists in centerfield 

#38 Abi Carter (P, 5-9, So., Hopkins, Minn. / Hopkins HS) 

• 2026 CSC Academic All-District

• 2026 All-NSIC Second Team 

• Posted a 1.66 ERA good for second in the NSIC 

• Recorded three saves which ranked fourth in the NSIC

• Tossed 62.1 innings in relief

#12 Emmy Bowne (P, 5-9, So., Big Lake, Minn. / Big Lake HS)
