LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Concordia-St. Paul senior catcher
Amanda Parsons (Grafton, Wis.) was named to the National Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association All-America Second Team, the Association announced on Wednesday afternoon.
She becomes Concordia's fifth All-American as an NCAA Division II program (2000-present) and the third to be named to the NFCA All-America Team. She's the first-ever NFCA All-America Second Team selection, and the first catcher in program history to earn All-America honors as a DII program.
CSP's other two NFCA All-Americans were Third Team selections, second base Anna Bjorlin (2010) and pitcher/DP Kristen Schmidt (2005). Additionally, CSP has had two D2CCA (formerly Daktronics) All-Americans, 2019 Second Team outfielder Carlie Hart and 2011 Third Team second base/outfield Brynn Larsen.

- Ranks 4th in CSP history with 44 career 2B, 10th with 189 career hits, 11th with 17 HR, 12th with 103 RBIs, a .395 obp and a .503 slg, and 14th with a .325 avg
- 5th-year starter at catcher, playing in 202 career games with 201 career starts with 1,221 fielding changes and only eight career errors
