ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia-St. Paul senior catcher
Amanda Parsons has added two more awards to her softball resume' being named NFCA All-Central Region First Team by the coaches' association and voted D2CCA All-Central Region Second Team by the sports information directors in the NCAA's Central Region.
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) are nominated and voted by NFCA member head coaches, with all honorees now eligible for selection to the 2022 NFCA Division II All-America squads, which will be released on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
The Conference Commissioner's Association (CCA) All-Central Region Teams were nominated and voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) members from schools competing in the NCAA Division II Central Region, comprised of the Mid-American Athletic Association (MIAA), Great American Conference (GAC) and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
Parsons becomes the first catcher in program history to earn NFCA All-Central Region honors and the second catcher to earn D2CCA (formerly Daktronics) All-Central Region honors, joining 2005 first team selection Kristin Linell.

- 5th-year starter at catcher, playing in 202 career games with 201 career starts with 1,221 fielding changes and only eight career errors
