ST. PAUL, Minn. - This Tuesday afternoon, Concordia-St. Paul (30-11-1, 13-9 NSIC) will host Upper Iowa (20-21, 11-10 NSIC) at 2 p.m. at Carlander Field.

The doubleheader will be a matchup of the sixth and seventh ranked teams in the Northern Sun, with CSP entering play with a five game winning streak while looking to halt Upper Iowa's winning streak at four games.

Concordia is coming off of a 4-game weekend sweep of MSU Moorhead on Saturday and Northern State on Sunday, and picked up a game two win over Southwest Minnesota State last Thursday in Marshall. UIU scored four home wins with sweeps of Minot State and UMary to snap out of a stretch of play where they had lost seven of their previous eight games.

The Golden Bears are 26-14 all-time against the Peacocks, with the series starting in 2004 prior to Upper Iowa joining the Northern Sun for the 2006-07 season. In conference games, Concordia holds a 17-11 record and is 7-5 in home games against UIU. Concordia has won three of the last four in the series, sweeping last seasons doubleheader in Fayette. The Golden Bears haven't swept the Peacocks at home since 2009 before the construction of Carlander Field when CSP played home games at Dunning Field one block east of campus.

The games will be available to watch, free of charge, online at nsicnetwork.com/cspbears, on your mobile device by downloading the NSIC Network app, or by downloading the NSIC Network app on your OTT service of choice (Roku, Apple TV, etc). Games will feature the commentary of Dan Flanagan, voice of the Golden Bears and a graduate of Fordham University in New York.
