ST. PAUL, Minn. - After a strong start to the game, Concordia-St. Paul (6-9, 2-4 GLIAC) was unable to keep pace with #11 Grand Valley State (14-1, 6-0 GLIAC), falling 15-4 on Sunday at the Concordia Dome at Sea Foam Stadium.
The Golden Bears hit the road this Wednesday for a 4 p.m. (central) start at Northern Michigan.

Maddy Seifert scoring on a free position shot to tie the score at 1-1 with 7:52 to play in the first.
While GVSU responded with a goal 40 seconds later, the CSP defense continued to keep the Lakers out of the net as fourth year sophomore

The Lakers responded with their first run, scoring the last two goals of the quarter for a 4-2 lead at the first break before netting the first goal of the second quarter for a 3-goal run and a 5-2 lead.
Concordia continued to work its way back into the contest with Seifert putting in her second goal of the game and 36th of the season to make it a 5-3 game with 12:34 to go in the first half.
Trailing 5-3, the Golden Bears secured the draw control but were unable to convert with GVSU executing a clear and scoring on the other end, starting a game-changing 9-0 scoring run that spanned into the fourth quarter.
Molly Moynihan snapped the scoreless drought with 4:37 to go in the fourth, netting her 23rd goal of the year and second of the game.
Despite the 11-3 halftime deficit, Concordia held a 9-7 advantage on the draw and doubled-up the Lakers in saves, 8-4.
For the game, CSP's defense caused 10 turnovers to GVSU's eight, with nine different players getting into the act for an active Golden Bear squad, who secured 22 ground balls to GVSU's 20 led by goalie
Candace McDole's six while six others had two each.
Senior
Mary Keating and sophomore
Hailey Hartlage each had three draw controls with Hartlage adding a pair of ground balls.
McDole finished with 11 saves, her fifth game with double-digit saves on the season while facing 31 shots on the day. She's one save shy of becoming the second player in program history to reach 100 saves in a season.
