LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released the final Division II Top-25 Coaches Poll of the 2022 season and the Concordia-St. Paul volleyball team (31-6) finished ranked second.

The Golden Bears have finished in the top-10 in the poll every year since 2003, finishing in the top spot in each of their nine championship seasons. Concordia has been a mainstay near the top of the poll for nearly two decades as they have only ranked outside the top-10 for three weeks since 2003, never ranking below #15. In total, the Golden Bears have spent an incredible 83 weeks at #1 since they debuted there in the 2004 preseason poll. Since the 2007 season, CSP has ranked #1 at least once in 13 of 15 seasons.

West Texas A&M, the national champions, earned the top spot, while MSU Denver was third, Wayne State was fourth and St. Cloud State was fifth.

The Northern Sun was well represented as the league had three of the top five and five in the top 12. CSP was the top ranked team of the group while WSC ranked fourth, SCSU ranked fifth, Minnesota Duluth ranked seventh and Southwest Minnesota State ranked 12th. The Central Region also dominated the poll with eight of the top 25.
