LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association released the 2022 AVCA All-Region Teams and Concordia-St. Paul had
Jasmine Mulvihill,
Emma Schmidt and
Teagan Starkey named to the First Team while
Katie Mattson was named honorable mention.
Each of the eight regions named 14 student-athletes to the All-Region team, and six players earned honorable mention recognition. Additionally, every region selected a Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Freshman of the Year. Wayne State's Taya Beller and Scott Kneifl wer named Central Region Player of the Year and Central Region Coach of the Years, respectively, while Central Oklahoma's Sydney Huck was named Central Region Freshman of the Year.
The All-America teams and Freshman of the Year will be revealed on Wednesday, Nov. 30, followed by the National Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year announcement on Thursday, Dec. 1.
