LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released the final Division II Top-25 Coaches Poll of the 2021 season and the Concordia-St. Paul volleyball team (24-9) finished in the seventh spot.

The Golden Bears have finished in the top-10 in the poll every year since 2003, finishing in the top spot in each of their nine championship seasons. For the first time since 2003, Concordia dropped out of the top-10 in the AVCA poll back in November before moving back up in the final poll. In total, the Golden Bears have spent an incredible 84 weeks at #1 since they debuted there in the 2004 preseason poll. Since the 2007 season, CSP has ranked #1 at least once in all but one season.

Tampa, the national champions, earned the top spot, while Washburn was second, MSU Denver was third, Central Missouri was fourth, West Florida was fifth and Western Washington was sixth.

The Northern Sun was especially well represented as the league had three of the top 10 and five in the top 25. CSP was the top ranked team of the group while Winona State finished ninth, St. Cloud State finished 10th, Wayne State finished 18th and Southwest Minnesota State ranked 23rd. The Central Region also dominated the poll with seven of the top 12 and nine of the top 25.
