SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
The Golden Bears currently trail the Bulldogs 2-17-3 in the all-time series. In the last matchup between the two squads, the Bears walked away with a 1-0 win at Sea Foam Stadium on Sept. 9, 2019.

Minnesota Duluth will head to St. Paul after earning their first win of the season against Minnesota Crookston on Sunday, Oct. 10 with a final score of 4-0.

Bulldogs point leader Lauren Singstock earned two assists in the win over the Golden Eagles while the UMD scoring leader did not find herself on the score sheet. Freshman midfielder Emilia Griffert's two goals are the high for the visiting team but she has not found the back of the net since Oct. 3 against Southwest Minnesota State.

Minnesota Duluth's starting goalkeeper Sophia Grenz, a senior, has started in all but one game for the Bulldogs and has played a total of 875 minutes thus far. She has faced 135 shots and has a save percentage of 0.741. She has allowed 21 goals for a 2.16 goals against average.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
St. Cloud State will be traveling to St. Paul after a 3-0 loss to Bemidji State on Oct. 10. The previous game on Oct. 8 against Minnesota Crookston was postponed.

Similarly, the Golden Bears also trail 5-10-5 all-time against the Huskies but the CSP squad has taken a win in the last two faceoffs between the teams. In the most recent matchup on Nov. 15, 2019, current player Nikki Anderson had both goals in the 2-1 win and was assisted by current teammate Katie Anderson

On the offense, the Huskies are being led by redshirt senior forward Nicole Friis and senior forward Claire Shea who each have three goals on the season. Claire and Friis also occupy the 9th and 10th places in goals in the conference.

While the 6th and 7th place ranks for shots are filled by Friis and Claire, SCSU's Ari Del Moral and Jenna Dominguez fill the 8th and 9th as well with 26 shots in nine games for Del Moral and 22 shots in eight games for Dominguez. Del Moral also ranks 9th for shots on goal with 16 and 10th in assists with three.

Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Evie Kohn sits right below CSP keeper Jessi Jordan in the NSIC standings. Jordan, in 7th place for GAA, has a 1.098 average through 11 games while Kohn has a 1.165 average through nine games. Kohn and Jordan each have three shutouts in 2021.

Head Coach Steve Bellis looks ahead to the weekend by stating, "After two good wins, we go into the next round of games confident and excited to play at home again. We hope for bumper crowds." He continued, "We face two very tough games and two well coached sides … should be fun!"

Following the home series, the Bears will head to North Dakota to play UMary on Friday, Oct. 22 in Bismarck and Minot State on Sunday, Oct. 24 in Minot.
