GLIAC AWARD WINNERS
Concordia junior Alina Boyce is coming off of a GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week performance, scoring seven points on four goals and three assists in a 20-11 road win at Northern Michigan last Wednesday. Boyce is the program's second-ever conference player of the selection, joining Katie Lottsfeldt who earned the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honor last year in 2018 when CSP also won at Northern Michigan. Prior to 2018, Concordia was a Division II independent in its inaugural season in 2017 and thus ineligible for player of the week recognition.

In addition to Boyce being named GLIAC Player of the Week, recently the league started listing honorable mention selections with Concordia consistently featured among the considerations for the award on both sides of the ball. Boyce was a two-time honorable mention selection (3/25 & 4/1) prior to earning the award on April 15, along with junior Maddie Hentges (4/8). On the defensive side, sophomore Lexi Stanley has earned honorable mention nods three of the last four weeks (3/25, 4/1 & 4/15) while Lottsfeldt also was listed (4/8).

  • Hentges and Boyce (36g) are just seven goals shy of the single season goals scored record held by Kailey Heinl in the 2017 inaugural year. Hentges, with 41 in 2018 and 38 in 2017, has the next two highest goal seasons.
  • Junior Kailey Heinl, the third 100-point member in program history (105), has 91 goals and is also closing in on 100 while also closing in a pair of other milestones: becoming the first to 100 career draw controls (96) and the first to 50 caused turnovers (48)
  • Freshman Sara McNicoll leads the team with 14 assists, fourth most in a season in CSP's three years of lacrosse and just five shy of Maddie Hentges' 2018 record of 19 in a season.

SINGLE GAME PROGRAM RECORDS & SEASON HIGHS
  • The single game goals record set by Maddie Hentges in 2018, a triple hat trick at Northern Michigan, still stands, but six goals have been scored in a game six different times all-time with two coming this season, once by Alina Boyce on March 17 against Davenport and the other by Maddie Hentges on April 5 against Northern Michigan.
  • Junior Maddie Hentges and freshman Mary Keating each have tied Hentges' 2017 single game assists record with four in a game this year. Hentges on March 9 against Fort Lewis and Keating on February 22 at Rockhurst.
  • Junior Katie Lottsfeldt has a pair of 14 save games this season, once at Northern Michigan (4/10) and the other at CSU-Pueblo (3/7). She set the single game saves record with 20 as a freshman at McKendree (3/5/17)
  • Sophomore Lexi Stanley is the only non-goalie (or, more accurately, non-Lottsfeldt) in program history to pick up at least seven ground balls in a game, and her nine ground balls at Maryville (3/22) are second-most in a game in team history, three shy of Lottsfeldt's 2018 record of 12 against Indianapolis (4/29/18)
  • Stanley also had 10 draw controls, a new school record, at Northern Michigan (4/10/19) after her seven draw controls at Lewis (3/29/19) earlier in the year were just one shy of the previous record of eight set by Lex Seifert against Northern Michigan last season (3/17/18)

  • CSP's back-to-back 20-plus goal outings against Northern Michigan the last two games give the team three 20-goal games this year, topping the previous two seasons when the team had a pair of 20-goal games in 2017 and in 2018
  • The back-to-back 20 goal games is the first time in program history
